Summer Song | Mélodie d’été
There's something about summer that always finds its way into my paintings. The warmth, the colours and those little moments that stay with us long after the season has passed.
With Summer Song, I wanted to capture a bit of that feeling. I played with colour, shapes and layers, letting the composition develop as I went along. I love how little touches of texture and unexpected marks can bring a painting together.
I can imagine this piece adding a little warmth and cheerfulness to a room, a lovely reminder of summer no matter what the season.
