I'm a visual artist based in Montreal, Canada, creating contemporary paintings inspired by flowers, vessels, and the quiet beauty of gathering around a table.

Growing up in the Laurentian Mountains, I was surrounded by forests, lakes, and gardens, but some of my strongest memories are indoors. Our family cottage was always full—friends dropping in, meals that stretched into the evening, and a table crowded with laughter, conversation, and people who loved one another. Those moments shaped me. Even today, I'm drawn to the simple rituals of setting a table, arranging flowers in a favourite vessel, sharing coffee from a beloved mug, or preparing a meal for family and friends.

Before becoming a full-time artist, I spent 25 years in the floral industry, where I developed a deep appreciation for colour, form, and the quiet language of flowers. Colour has always shaped my life. It's what first catches my eye, sparks my curiosity, and inspires me to paint. I love discovering how one unexpected hue can completely change the mood of a painting, bringing energy, harmony, or a quiet sense of calm.

Today, my paintings grow much like a garden. I work intuitively, building each piece through layers of colour, texture, and expressive marks until the composition feels balanced and alive. I'm fascinated by vessels—not just for their beautiful shapes, but for what they represent. They hold flowers, food, memories, traditions, and the everyday moments that quietly become part of our lives.

Whether I'm painting an abstract floral or a contemporary tablescape, my hope is always the same: to create artwork that brings warmth into a home and celebrates the moments that connect us.
