About Me
I’m a visual artist based in Mont Saint-Hilaire, Canada, creating abstract floral paintings that are deeply connected to memory, emotion, and the natural world. I grew up in the Laurentian Mountains, surrounded by forests, lakes, and the quiet rhythm of nature. Some of my earliest and most cherished memories are of watching my grandfather tend to his garden—especially his roses and zinnias. That early connection to the earth, to colour, and to care has never left me.
After graduating from art school, I spent 25 years working in the flower industry—living and breathing blooms in a different way. That experience taught me how flowers speak without words, how they hold emotion, beauty, and presence. It shaped my understanding of form, movement, and the way light plays through petals.
Today, I carry all of that with me into the studio. I feel most grounded when I’m painting or working in the garden. My creative process is intuitive and layered—like planting a garden, I build each painting stroke by stroke, letting it grow into something alive. I’m drawn to bold colours, lush textures, and organic shapes that feel both joyful and deeply felt.
Painting is how I connect to myself and the world around me. Through my work, I hope to offer a quiet space where others can pause, feel, and reconnect—with nature, with memory, and with something beautiful within themselves.
