Good and Gathered / Tout en Harmonie
Blue is one of those colours I never tire of exploring. I love mixing different blues, playing with their warmth and coolness, and seeing how they work together.
In Good and Gathered, I let blue take the lead, building the composition around a few familiar shapes and simple objects. I especially like the little glimpses of earlier layers and the subtle changes in colour that you notice when you get up close.
I think this painting would bring a lovely sense of calm to a room, while still having plenty of colour and personality to keep things interesting.
