For What It's Worth | Après Tout
Sometimes the paintings I enjoy most are the ones that surprise me along the way. I start with a few familiar shapes and colours, then let things develop without having too much of a plan.
I love building up layers, scraping back into the paint and leaving little marks and textures that tell the story of how the painting came together. It's those unexpected details that often become my favourite parts.
For What It's Worth is a little painting with plenty of personality, and I can imagine it adding a lovely touch of colour and interest to a favourite corner of someone's home.
